EduCare is not a general fund. It is a structured, individual sponsorship programme with clear processes from school verification to termly monitoring. This operational rigour is what separates us from an emotional campaign.
We work only with verified partner schools. The school head must sign the intake form, confirming the school is legitimate and the nomination genuine. We do not accept unverified referrals.
Each nominated child's family situation is assessed against defined criteria: income level, household composition, stability of living situation, and genuine dropout risk.
Beneficiaries are identified by their teachers — not by parental application. This protects the integrity of the selection process and ensures nominations reflect genuine potential.
Every nomination is scored: Academic potential (30pts) + Financial need (30pts) + Attitude to learning (20pts) + Dropout risk (20pts). Selection is evidence-based, not emotional.
All fees are paid directly to the school's bank account. No cash changes hands. Uniforms and textbooks are purchased directly or reimbursed on receipts. Every transaction is documented.
Every sponsored child's academic progress is tracked each term. Donors receive a written update. Children are supported through the full programme cycle — not abandoned after one term.
How a child
gets sponsored.
Teacher nominates a child using the GPF Intake Form. School head counter-signs. Form submitted to GPF.
GPF reviews the nomination against the scoring rubric. Additional verification carried out where needed.
Family is privately notified. Child is not told until confirmation is complete. That moment belongs to them.
Fees paid directly to school account. Uniforms and books purchased. Receipts filed. Donor notified.
Academic progress tracked each term. Written donor report issued. Child supported through completion.
